Accustoming children to water in your own spa
Many children enjoy bathing in water. Splashing around in water with their parents is really great fun and can have a positive effect on children's motor development. A bath in the spa is possible from the age of six months if you follow a few rules:

• Only healthy children like to splash around in water, children with fever and infections have to get better first.
• For full bathing pleasure it is important to accustom children to the spa slowly. Select a low Hydrojet setting to • ensure gentle bathing pleasure during the first bath in the spa.
• The younger the children are the shorter the bathing time should be. 10 minutes are very strenuous for a baby in
the spa.
• Bathing temperature: The optimum temperature is between 32° and 34° Celsius.
• Children enjoy the relaxing surroundings of warm water. However as soon as they feel uncomfortable or don't
want to stay in the spa any more: get out of the spa! “Less is more“ is the best motto for turning children into
enthusiastic “water babies“.
• Naturally babies and children must never be in the spa without supervision. Swimming aids can also be worn as an
• additional precaution.
• Soft skin like a baby's bottom: after bathing sensitive children's skin should be showered with warm water without
any soap additives. This gently removes any remaining chlorine from the skin. Afterwards it is important to apply
cream to prevent the skin from drying out.

In this manner you will help your children to discover water playfully and without fear.
